We do not get any details that you enter from your credit card, which gives you added security. DELIVERY AND DELIVERY CHARGES Delivery is within New Zealand only. Goods are at our risk until delivered to you. (See Island Delivery information below.) If delivery is to a business address, please supply the company name.
We endeavour to deliver your purchase within 2 to 3 working days after receiving your order. On items under 10kg in weight we generally use New Zealand Post. Please note that Rural Delivery addresses are dependent on the local courier`s schedule. On larger items we research the best General Carrying Company for the job - this can take a little longer.
Delivery charges are calculated and shown as a separate item before you choose to enter your payment details and send the order to be processed.
We may deliver each item ordered separately if we choose for supply or other reasons. If this is the case you will not incur any extra delivery cost.
Why are some products ‘Only Available Instore"? Sometimes products are not available for purchase from our website. Usually this is because the product has Supplier constraints, requires special delivery conditions or cannot be sent by courier under standard delivery. For example, hazardous substances, fragile or glass products, heavy products or very large products.
DELIVERY TO ISLANDS We will supply goods to the shipping agent on the mainland for the specified island as per our delivery charge. The customer must pay the shipping agent to deliver to their home or other pick up point on the island. Customers must make their own arrangements to collect goods from the agent on the island. Gardening Aid's responsibility for product shall cease on delivery of the order to the shipping agent, properly addressed.
ROUTINE SECURITY CHECKS Gardening Aids will contact the purchaser of an order to confirm the validity of delivery details supplied and we will perform security checks on any orders that raise the following alerts: - Orders for goods over $400 in value or - Orders where the delivery address seems inaccurate or - Orders where the purchaser details supplied appear false or - Orders where the collection of products purchased triggers an alert. Gardening Aids reserves the right to cancel and refund any order that appears to be fraudulent.
REFUND POLICY If the product you were supplied with fails to do the job it was intended to do or fails to meet the description as shown in the shop then we will refund you in full, including the freight charged in sending the item to you AND your freight costs in returning it to us. In order for this to happen you must return it to us in the original packaging, accompanied by a copy of your original purchase invoice, within 14 days of us notifying you that it has been despatched to you.
If you simply change your mind, or order the wrong part, we are under no obligation to refund you. We will exchange providing the terms above are met AND you meet the freight cost PLUS a 15% handling fee.
