STRONG POINTS

  • Good performance through main hopper
  • Will do palm fronds as long as blades are very sharp. Flax & cabbage tree leaves are better disposed of elsewhere
  • Separate chipper blade system chips wood up to 65mm dia. stabilses fed material.

WEAK POINTS

  • Being a chipper only shredding system for both inlets, it is vulnerable to dirty material
  • Long feed pipe makes it difficult to feed twisted branches in.
  • Because they are direct drive these machines have a history of breaking their crankshafts if the blades are not kept sharp
